- The story begins with Devin Boss, founder of North East Productions
Devin Boss, a Northeast Portland native, is a director and the owner of North East Productions. Under his leadership, North East Productions creates documentaries and short films that explore culture and the fascinating lives of characters on journey’s to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles. North East Productions has earned significant recognition, including two Telly Awards for social impact and short-form broadcast documentary, as well as the Best Short Documentary award at the Portland Film Festival.
Devin also directed the short documentary What We Lost Along the Way, funded by the Outdoor Adventure Film Grant from Travel Oregon and Oregon Film. The film won the Best Shorts Award at the worldwide Best Shorts Competition and was well-received at its screening at the November 2024 Portland Film Festival.

Solomon Spencer
Composer
Sxlxmxn is a prolific music producer known for his innovative sound and genre-blending versatility. Drawing from a wide range of influences—from hip-hop to experimental electronic—he has carved out a signature style that continues to push creative boundaries. His talent has led to collaborations with acclaimed artists including Boldy James, Westside Boogie, Danny Brown, Method Man, and Mick Jenkins, as well as partnerships with major brands like Nike, Adidas, and Danner Boots.
In addition to his work in music and fashion, Sxlxmxn has brought his unique sonic vision to the world of film. He composed the original scores for the documentaries Where We Goin and What We Lost Along the Way, adding emotional depth and dynamic texture to the storytelling. With a growing body of work and a reputation for forward-thinking artistry, Sxlxmxn continues to leave an indelible mark across music, film, and culture.
Martin Van Londen
Director of Photography
Martin is a versatile creative with over 17 years of experience in cinematography and photography. He finds his purpose in translating the world’s essence into compelling visual stories. Simultaneously, he is captivated by the art of strategy from delivering content effectively to pushing the boundaries of creativity, all in the pursuit of entertaining, engaging, and fostering communities.
Deejuliano Scott
Senior Editor
Dee Juliano is an award-winning filmmaker with a decade of experience crafting visually stunning and emotionally resonant content. A masterful storyteller, Dee has a talent for bringing fresh perspectives to life, combining technical expertise with a deep passion for narrative. His achievements span an impressive range of projects, including curating pitches for Nike’s brand team through the art of visual storytelling and editing work published in Time Magazine. Recognized for his exceptional editing skills, Dee was awarded Best Editor at the AAIF 72-Hour Film Festival. Dee’s industry credentials include serving as Post Production Coordinator for the film Clementine, which debuted at Tribeca in 2019 and starred Sydney Sweeney. He also contributed as Assistant Editor on Speedcubers, a documentary that earned a spot on the Oscars shortlist in 2021
Marcie Caddell
Camera Operator
Marcie is an assistant camera and cinematographer based in the Pacific Northwest who specializes in documentary and narrative. Driven by their belief that creativity begins with meaningful collaboration and care towards crew, they love crafting compelling visuals to draw audiences into stories.
Meaghan Sutton
Filmmaker and film photographer
Meaghan Sutton is a visionary filmmaker and film photographer. Known for her intentional approach to filmmaking and storytelling, she bridges nostalgia, romanticism, and human connection. Her work is one of patience, observation, and a deep respect for the art. An analog girl living in a digital world, she aims create work that lingers in the mind — films that don’t just tell stories, but feel like memories.
